The New IHS Standards Expert 5.0

On June 21st we launched IHS Standards Expert 5.0 and it quickly gained widespread acceptance as the most powerful and innovative updates yet to our enterprise standards management platform. The new release is a result of direct feedback from thousands of users. Customers spoke and we listened. We incorporated new capabilities that included an enhanced interface, greater ease of use, more robust search functionality and improved performance. We are continuing to enhance IHS Standards Expert 5.0 based upon user feedback and ongoing analysis of search statistics. You spend less time searching for the documents you need and more time applying information and adding value to your projects.

Here are some specific enhancements to Standards Expert:

** Updated look and feel for faster communication

** Enhanced search with type-ahead feature to instantly search and find your document

** Search results prioritized by relevancy so you’re not digging through a long list of documents

** Gatekeeper enhancements let you purchase a document and forward it to another user

** Manage purchase costs and capture the reason for the purchase with the Order Justification Field

** Use Custom Messages to inform colleagues of purchasing policies and other relevant information

** iPhone and iPad browser capability using Safari
